The Living Lab, Land Use Change for the Green Transition, focuses on the many interests, conflicts, dilemmas, and environmental aspects that evolve from land use changes as part of the green transition. In the lab, we will generate and co-create ideas and solutions with all partners relevant to land use changes, land use planning, and rewetting of drained wetland areas.

Geographically, the Living Lab revolves around the drained wetland and regulated streams in Åmosen in Western Zealand. Åmosen will serve as a focal point for lab activities to develop solutions and pathways specific to the ongoing land use change connected to the rewetting of carbon-rich soils. Lessons drawn in Åmosen can be applied to other geographical sites of rewetting carbon-rich soils.
