Fellowships
The GSC Fellowships primary goal is to establish strategic research environments at UCPH that foster cross-disciplinary capacity building within the green agenda. A further aim is to strengthen external sharing of insights to provide authorities and society in general with science-based knowledge relevant for a green transition.
The GSC fellowship is for tenured UCPH researchers who want to dedicate time to develop cross-disciplinary research environments related to the green transition, and who want to provide authorities and society in general with comprehensive research-based knowledge within the fields of agriculture, climate, environment and nature.
The fellowships extend the ongoing work within GSC to strengthen the integrated capacity building at UCPH within the green area. In 2024, the GSC Knowledge Gap Report identified potential research areas for a just green transformation of society, heeding the Planetary Boundaries. On the basis of the report, the GSC has initiated seven different thematic knowledge gap projects that integrate knowledge and build capacity to support the development of new agricultural, climate and environmental policies in the EU and Denmark.
