KU Brainstorm – Green Tripartite Agreement – from Ideal to Reality

This is an internal KU event exclusive to researchers and students.

The purpose of the brainstorm is to frame an academic dialogue across disciplines and to create a space for academic reflection, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration across UCPH.

Come and reflect on what you, with your research expertise, see as relevant in the Green Tripartite Agreement and be inspired by your colleagues from other disciplines.

The Green Tripartite Agreement can be seen as an example of transformative governance — a form of governance that seeks to create profound and systemic changes in society’s decision-making structures and practices to address the complex and long-term challenges posed by the green transition and the environmental crisis.

The Green Tripartite Agreement is designed to promote new futures for Danish agriculture, regions, and nature. But which/whose futures are emerging, and which/whose futures are being pursued?

For example, forests are to be planted – but what kind of forest? Low-lying farmland is to be retired – but what kind of land use should be established instead?
